The project is being implemented as part of an industrial cluster program with support from the Russian Ministry of Industry and Trade and aims to create a process chain for the production of hydrogen-powered UAVs (unmanned aerial vehicles). Five companies, including subsidiaries of AFK "Sistema", are participating in the supply chain.
The UAV is a multirotor, hydrogen-powered fuel cell-powered UAV with remote control equipment. It is a hexacopter with 36-inch propellers and a maximum takeoff weight of up to 29 kg. Its power plant is a hydrogen fuel cell-based electricity generator with a cylinder. UAV production is expected to begin as part of the industrial cluster program in the third quarter of 2026.
